Full Review Nikon D850 Digital Camera for Black Friday The Nikon D850 includes a 45.7-megapixel full-frame (FX-format) CMOS sensor not previously found in any other camera. Like many other after Nikon models, it does not have an optical low pass filter. This means there is some theoretical threat of moiré consequences in fine patterns and textures, but the revival is extra-sharp nice detail rendition. This sensor also includes gapless on-chip micro-lenses, with the latest back-illuminated design to maximize its light-gathering capabilities. In effect, the detector's layout is reversed so the wiring is behind the light frequencies as opposed to in front, and no longer obstructs any light.
